How one should behave in a fairytale? It is easier when you have some instructions. Even better if it is 25 m of handprinted wallpaper with a map.
The wallpaper serves as an interactive toy and encourages imagination and play. Children can study the illustration and add to it; the poem provides textual and visual guidance. The wallpapers pattern is illustration of the poem – a map of a fairytale land. Poem by one and only Neil Gaiman.
Work is dedicated to two very important Johns. Made as BA graduate work, Art Academy of Latvia.
